Mexicana is an open platform that will allow you to access the available digital collections of the Ministry of Culture. You can consult academic collections of various Institutions and contents of cultural spaces such as museums, libraries, archives, television and radio stations that rely on the Ministry of Culture.
These collections and contents are optimally integrated to allow its universal and free access, thus strengthening the preservation and dissemination of Mexico's cultural heritage.
Mexicana is a strategic project of the Ministry of Culture that seeks to interoperate the digital collections hosted and managed by the institution, with an integral and sustainable vision to contain those digital objects based on the highest international standards, policies and good practices.
The contents you can find are diverse in formats (radio programs, short films, books, magazines, photographs, digital publications, thesis, multimedia objects, paintings, sculptures, etc.) as well as in topics. In addition, you are provided with easy search tools that will allow you to discover what you need for academic, research or recreational purposes, welcome!
