Archive Exchange Map

In times when it is difficult or almost impossible for historians to travel to archives, the Tempopedia Archive Map serves as a tool for collaboration and exchange. The principle and spirit behind it is somewhat similar to Couchsurfing. Using the map you can announce your current location to other historians. If, by chance, someone needs a few pictures from the archive you are currently working in, they can contact you through this site.

How do I announce my location?

1. Register as a Tempopedia user.

2. Open the User not found menu.

3. Click on “Edit Profile”.

4. Click on the Current Archive tab to edit the current archive information.

5. Fill out name and address of the archive as well as the start and end dates of your trip. Once you have saved this form, you will appear on the archive map.
